What are user preferences?

User preferences are personalized settings that control the way information is presented to the viewer. These settings are stored on the web server rather than on your personal computer, so your personal preferences will be applied no matter what computer you use to access the web.

What preferences can I set?

• Maximum rows per page - This preference limits the number of rows that can be displayed in a table at one time without paging.

  Choose from 10, 20, 50, or 100.

• Time zone for reports - This preference sets the time zone to be used for reports that aren't specifically based on the time zone of the driver's log.
• Name style for reports - This preference determines how persons' names are displayed in the web application and in printed reports.

  Choose from the following:

  • Name Only - Display the person's first and last name

    OR

  • Name with ID* - Display the person's first and last name followed by the ID

  * IDs are used to sign in to the mobile application and the web application. If you choose Name with ID style, use caution to protect Driver IDs and User IDs from unauthorized distribution.

• Units for distance/odometer - This preference sets the units for displaying and entering odometer readings and for displaying distance traveled.

  Choose from miles or kilometers.

How do I change my password?

To change the password you use to sign in to the web application:

1. Click the Change My Password... button.
2. Enter your Old Password (this is your current password).
3. Enter a New Password.
4. Reenter the new password in the Confirm Password box.
5. Click the Save button.

* Passwords are case sensitive. If you see an error message indicating that the password is invalid, check whether the Caps Lock key is selected and try again.
