What is the purpose of the Conflicts Report?

The Conflicts Report identifies omissions and inconsistencies in a driver's record of duty status (aka driver log). If left unresolved, such omissions and inconsistencies may cause the driver to be cited for log form and manner violations or for exceeding the allowable hours of service.

The Conflicts Report provides more details than the Home Page Summary and can be used to view conflicts that are more than 15 days old. Motor carriers should also use the report to monitor Unidentified Driver activity i.e., Driving (D) status changes not assigned to a particular driver's log.

To view conflicts for one or more drivers:

  1. Select a driver's name or (all) from the Driver drop-down list. If you are the driver, your own name will be selected automatically.
  2. Select the range of dates for which you wish to view conflicts.
    To change a date:
  3. Click the View button.

To view conflicts for the Unidentified Driver:

  1. Select Unidentified Driver or (all) from the Driver drop-down list.
  2. Select the range of dates for which you wish to view conflicts.
    To change a date:
  3. By default, driving events that have been marked as Won't Assign are excluded from the report. Check the Show Unidentified Driving Events Marked as Won't Assign checkbox if you want these events included in the report.
  4. Click the View button.
