* An application user must have a user role with View/Modify permission to the Admin feature to edit the organization details.

What information is displayed for an organization?

• Organization ID - Identifies the organization
• Company Name - The name of the company that serves the motor carrier
• Provision Key - The key used to provision the organization's mobile logging devices to exchange vehicle-specific information with the web server
• Phone - The organization's main phone number
• Default Carrier - The default motor carrier to which newly created drivers will be assigned

What applications and features are supported for the organization?

The applications and features that are supported by the organization's license key are listed in the Applications section. If additional applications or features are desired, a new license key must be issued.

To enable a supported application or feature, check the corresponding checkbox and then click the Save button. To disable a supported application or feature, uncheck the corresponding checkbox and then click the Save button.

The following applications and features may be available, depending on the license key:

• Hours of Service
• DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports)
• IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement)
• Mapping

Which general settings are configurable?

The following settings may be configured if one or more applications is supported for the organization. To edit the configuration, change these settings as desired and then click the Save button.

Data Exchange

• Once a day at - Determines whether the mobile logging devices that are provisioned to this organization should attempt to communicate to the server at least once a day

  If enabled (checked), devices will attempt to exchange data with the server at least once a day at the specified time.

• On driver sign out - Determines whether the mobile logging devices that are provisioned to this organization should attempt to communicate to the server when a driver signs out of the device.

  If enabled (checked), devices will attempt to exchange data with the server whenever a driver signs out of the device.

  * This setting cannot be disabled.

• Send new data within - Determines whether the mobile logging devices that are provisioned to this organization should attempt to communicate to the server within a certain time period after recording new data

  If enabled (checked), devices will attempt to send any new data within the specified time interval.

Which Hours of Service specific settings are configurable?

The following settings may be configured if the Hours of Service application is supported for the organization. To edit the configuration, change these settings as desired and then click the Save button.

• Yard Movement
  • Create drivers with yard moves (YM) enabled by default - Determines whether the Allow Yard Moves checkbox when creating new drivers is enabled (checked) by default.

    If enabled (checked), then the Allow Yard Moves (YM) on ELD checkbox on the Driver Detail page will be enabled (checked) by default for all new drivers within the organization. Existing driver configurations will not be affected by this setting; this only applies to the creation of new drivers.

  • Restrict yard moves (YM) to geofenced yards (US only) - Prevents the Yard Move (YM) status from being available to drivers operating in the United States unless they are within a defined yard.

    If enabled (checked), drivers operating in the United States will not be able to select the Yard Move status unless their GPS coordinates put them inside of a yard. If invalid GPS coordinates are being received or the driver is operating in Canada while this option is enabled, the Yard Moves status will be available to them. Enabling this option will disable the Applies outside of yard option for speed thresholds.

    * This setting will only function on mobile version 9.0 or newer

  Yard Moves Threshold:
  • Maximum Threshold - The speed in miles per hour (mph) that a driver can travel before being moved out of Yard Moves (YM) status into Driving (D) status.

    * This setting only applies to ELD compliant devices.

  • Applies outside of yard - Determines whether the set maximum speed threshold will apply outside of a defined yard.

    If enabled (checked), the Yard Moves threshold maximum speed will apply outside of a defined yard.

    * This setting only applies to ELD compliant devices.

• Border Crossing Support:
  • Show country selection on reports - Determines whether country selection should be enabled for certain HOS reports

    If enabled (checked), HOS reports that display country-specific HOS calculations or driver log information will allow the user to choose a country (US or Canada).

• ON/Sign Out:
  • Allow drivers to sign out in ON status (ELD) - Determines whether drivers are allowed to sign out of the application with an On Duty (ON) status.

    If enabled (checked), when a driver signs out, they will be able to choose between an On Duty (ON) status or Off Duty (OFF) status.

    * This setting only applies to ELD compliant devices.

• Off Duty:
  • OFF Duty Status (ELD) - Determines whether drivers are allowed to choose Off Duty status on sign in or on status change while remaining signed in.

    If enabled (checked), a driver may choose the Off Duty (OFF) Status (ELD).

    * This setting only applies to ELD compliant devices.

• Vehicle ID Confirmation:
  • Show Vehicle ID Confirmation at Login - Determines whether drivers will be prompted to confirm the Vehicle ID at Login.

    If enabled (checked), the driver will be prompted to either confirm or edit the Vehicle ID at login.

    * This setting only applies to ELD compliant devices.

• Annotation Options:
  • Show Pre-Defined Annotations - Determines whether drivers will be prompted with pre-defined annotations for an applicable status.

    If enabled (checked), a driver will be prompted with a pre-defined list of annotations when changing to their duty status to:

    • ON (Driver and Not Driver)
    Available Pre-Defined Annotations:
    • Fueling
    • Loading
    • Unloading
    • Inspection
    • Sleeper Berth (SB)
    Available Pre-Defined Annotations:
    • Break

    * This setting only applies to ELD compliant devices.

• Driver Role Options:
  • Show Driver Role Selection - Determines whether drivers will be prompted with the Driver Role Selection dialog.

    If enabled (checked), a driver will be prompted with the driver role selection dialog when changing their duty status.

    * This setting only applies to ELD compliant devices.

• Assign Carrier to an Asset:
  • Assign Carrier to an Asset - Determines whether a driver's motor carrier is determined by the asset they are using, or the motor carrier assigned to the driver.

    If enabled (checked), a driver's motor carrier will be shown as the carrier assigned to the asset last used by the driver on that day.
    If disabled (unchecked), the motor carrier assigned to the driver will be used.

Which IFTA/Mapping specific settings are configurable?

The following settings may be configured if the IFTA/Mapping application is supported for the organization. To edit the configuration, change these settings as desired and then click the Save button.

• Days of History to Retain - The number of days that the system will keep telemetry data before it is removed. Value must be between 7 and 120 days (default is 100).
• Send new data every - How often, in minutes, that devices will send telemetry data to the host system. Value must be between 1 and 1440 (default is 60).
• Sample new data every - How often, in minutes, that the device will gather new telemetry data. Value must be between 1 and 15 (default is 15).
