What is the purpose of the Asset Utilization Report?

The Asset Utilization Report is intended to help organizations monitor how much particular assets are being utilized over time. The report retrieves its data from driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs). The resulting data can then be used to make decisions regarding when and where to schedule routine vehicle maintenance.

To view the report:

1. Select an asset type or (all) from the Asset Type drop-down list.
2. To view information for one Asset, enter the ID in the Asset ID box. Leave this box blank to view information for all assets of the selected type.
3. Select the range of dates for which you wish to view utilization data.

   To change a date:

   • Click the ... button to pop up the calendar.
   • Click on the date desired.
4. Select a location or (all) from the Home Location drop-down list.
5. Select a location or (all) from the Service Location drop-down list.
6. Click the View button.

What information is displayed in the report?

• Asset Type - The type (equipment class) of the asset
• Asset ID - Identifies the asset
• Utilization Data - Periodic values reported for the asset on the corresponding DVIR

  * The specific datapoints reported depend on the type of asset.

• Home Location - The currently configured home location of the asset

  * Home location can be configured via the Asset Detail page.

• Service Location - The currently configured service location of the asset

  * Service location can be configured via the Asset Detail page.

• Reported Location - The actual location reported for the asset at the time of the corresponding DVIR
• Created - The date and time that the corresponding DVIR was created

  * All dates and times in the Asset Utilization Report are based on your user preference for time zone.

• Driver - The driver who created the corresponding DVIR
